This odd circumstance came about due to the way in which the cover for that issue was done. Originally, artist Tim Vigil intended to publish the cover story as its own book titled \"Heart of Darkness\" (the main character's name is \"Cuda\") and he drew that title\/logo directly into the cover art. Silverwolf decided to use Vigil's original cover as the cover for Fantastic Fables #2 and, for whatever reason, could not place the actual title on the cover without harming Vigil's cover art.
