After graduation, Connor's adopted daughter Rachel takes time to see the world and live an adult life, and Connor is terribly lonely in her absence. Settling into his post-World War II life, Connor is approached by his former Army commander. The commander has moved into the spy world, and he knows Connor's secret, having seen him survive serious wounds during the war.
