Three hundred years ago, the monks of Shaolin were betrayed from within. Their temple was destroyed and their abbot killed, but many of them were able to escape. As guardians of the five sacred pearls of Shaolin, these monks scattered and hid. For centuries the pearls were kept secretly passed from father to son, or teacher to pupil.
Now Kung Fu instructor Mario Perez holds guardianship of one pearl. Its mystic powers enhance his formidable skills, and also grant him the attributes of its symbolic animal, the Tiger.
