Polaris Spanner is one of the most wanted men in the galaxy—and he doesn’t know why. In a market on the planet Festi of Vega, while his father bargained, Polaris tried to buy a pie, only to have it swiped by a street urchin. Polaris ran after, and eventually caught up with the little thief, and agreed to share it with her. When he returned to his father’s side, however, his father was about to come to blows over a shek, a weapon he had bought, but which two Kaborian knights insisted belonged to a fallen comrade.

This was Polaris’ introduction to the old knights of the galaxy.
