Series: Armageddon: Inferno
"Armageddon 2001" was a 1991 crossover event storyline from DC Comics. It ran through this series and most annuals DC published in 1991. After the event, two other series were published, Armageddon: The Alien Agenda (which was a direct sequel) and this series, Armageddon: Inferno (which was tangentially related). Each annual explored potential possible futures for its main characters, much in the manner of Marvel Comics' What If?.
