Cerebus the Aardvark ran for 300 issues - over 25 years - and is widely credited as the first successful comic from a small independent publisher.
The first 26 issues were reprinted in Cerebus Bi-Weekly. The next 25 issues were reprinted in Cerebus High Society. Each Softcover Book reprints about 20 to 25 issues.
