The 1961 series of Fantastic Four lasted 415 issues, followed by the 13 issues 1996 series; followed by 71 issues of the 1998 series. The series was then renumbered to #500 since it was the 500th overall issue of Fantastic Four.Numbering Alert
Issues #589-599 do not exist. The story in issue 588 was continued in a new series titled FF. The series continued with issue #600.
