This was the first Hawkman comic book series. Sent to Earth to pursue a criminal from his home planet, the winged policeman stays on earth. The silver age Hawkman first appeared in Brave and the Bold (1955 series) #34-36 and #42-44. He became of member of the Justice League of America in Justice League of America (1960 series) #31.
