Mighty Samson comics told the story of a post-apocalyptic New York. Similar to other post-apocalyptic titles like Kamandi: The Last Boy on Earth or Atomic Knights, it was set in the area around New York, now known as "N'Yark", in an Earth devastated by a nuclear war. Mighty Samson was created by writer Otto Binder and artist Frank Thorne.
