The Clock (Brian O''Brien) and Nightmask (Phillip Reinhart) were two of the earliest heroes to fight crime. Others included Amazing Man, Gravestone, Prince Zardi the Eternal Man, Iron Skull, The Eye and Miss Fury. Many of the characters in this series were taken from heroes created by Centaur Publications, and who had fallen into the Public Domain.
