Spyman is Johnny Chance, a member of “Liberty,” America’s top-secret counter-espionage agency. He fights crime with the help of his electro-robot hand, which contains a litany of gadgets including a blaster, a camera, and a black light ray. The hand also acts as a bullet shield and communicator. At the first sign of trouble, Johnny is summoned to Liberty’s HQ by changing the color of the Statue of Liberty’s torch (sort of a Spy-signal). He then joins his fellow Liberty fighters in very bad costumes to fight megalomaniacs, giant robots and sneering villains everywhere.
