Stray Bullets kicks off at two o’clock in the morning, sometime in the summer of 1997. Two mob henchmen were driving to the woods to dump a body when their car blew a tire. The younger mook, a low IQ-type named Joey, was sent into the woods with the body while the older one, Frank, began changing the tire. Then the cops drove up.
Frank had almost talked his way out of the situation when the cop saw the bloodstains. Before the cop could act, Joey appeared and shot him. That’s when the evening began to get truly out of hand. Before sunrise, the car was stuffed with bodies, the pair would blow up a diner, and Joey would declare his undying love for a corpse.
