Hold on—Swamp Thing is a hulking plant creature, right? Yes, and Tefé is his daughter, all grown up and possessed of similar connections with nature in general and plant life in particular as her famous father. Unlike him, though, Tefe maintains a normal, human outward appearance, that of an attractive young woman, and as a result, her interactions are largely with normal people, both good and bad. Among the good: her scarred friend and companion, Barnabas. The bad include anyone who messes with nature, or with this new Swamp Thing’s friends.
